It's the anthem for the FUNKtion that never was. "Jam Likely" was to be the next party series from the Modern Funk Fest crew in LA, and this wobbly, intoxicated track was to be the theme. Unfortunately, covid decided otherwise and, while the event itself has been postponed indefinitely, the song will last forever, as will the limited edition flexi disc vinyl pressed just for the party. Featuring the breezy street-level vocal stylings of Zackey Force Funk and the synthesizer-drenched production of XL Middleton, "Jam Likely" will go down as the modern funk staple for the quarantine-era party at the house.
